COMBO DOOR MEASUREMENT

To measure a mobile home combo door, first, remove the interior door casing to expose the rough opening. Then, measure the width from wood jamb to wood jamb across the top of the opening, and the height from the floor up to the top of the rough opening. For hinge placement, stand outside the home and note the side the hinges are on to determine if you need a left- or right-hand door. If this is not an option you can also measure the storm door itself not the frame around it just the storm door. Add two inches to whatever width you get and one inch to whatever height you get. Happy Measuring!

BACK DOOR MEASUREMENT

To measure a back door which is going to be a single pre hung door you have to measure the door itself no frame just the door and measure it from the outside so that you get the complete edge to edge measurement. For hinge placement, stand outside the home and note the side the hinges are on to determine if you need a left- or right-hand door. Happy Measuring!
